We knew there had to be a better way—and we set out to create it.

A Founder’s Mission
Noah Webster, our founder, experienced painful extractors firsthand. While in college, he worked on groundbreaking medical device projects developing innovations like sternal bone plates and anti-tremor devices for Parkinson’s patients, yet he couldn’t escape the frustration of dealing with persistent blackheads. Turning to the widely used metal loop extractor, he was shocked by the pain, irritation, and redness it caused. The experience felt ironic: despite advancing medical technology in his work, a tool used by millions daily had gone virtually unchanged since the late 1800s.
Determined to change this, Noah drew on his expertise in medical engineering to design a solution that was gentler, safer, and more effective. This vision became the foundation of Skin Safeguard™ Inc. and led to the creation of our flagship product, the Halo™ Extractor.

Executive Team
Webster – Founder & CEO
Noah founded Skin Safeguard in 2024 with a mission to create innovative skincare tools that prioritize comfort and deliver professional-grade results. As a mechanical engineer and serial entrepreneur, Noah has a proven track record of developing groundbreaking medical devices, including a laparoscopic surgical instrument, a sternal bone plate, and a solution to mitigate Parkinson’s-related tremors.
Prior to founding Skin Safeguard, Noah played a pivotal role in Singular Genomics’ growth from early development to a successful IPO. Starting as a Research Engineer, he optimized prototype DNA sequencing instruments and contributed to their transition from early prototype to production. He later became the company’s first supply chain hire, where he implemented scalable systems and established strategic vendor relationships that drove 10x growth. Beyond Singular Genomics, Noah founded OAN Health and HODL Operations, gaining valuable experience in product development and business strategy. He also advised Sensoride on radar software development and led U.S. business development for Big O Soft.
Noah holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Portland. During his time there, he conducted biomedical research and served in leadership roles that promoted engineering innovation, diversity, and outdoor education.
Erik Henne – Chief Advisor
With over 20 years of experience in the startup medical device industry, Erik Henne serves as Chief Advisor at Skin Safeguard. A seasoned expert in guiding innovative medical technologies from concept to commercialization, Erik brings deep expertise in product development, business strategy, and the execution of clinical, pre-clinical, and benchtop studies. His collaborative approach and extensive work with physicians and scientific advisory boards ensure that every innovation meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
Before joining Skin Safeguard, Erik co-founded and served as CTO of Morair Medtech, where he led the company from inception to a successful exit. His leadership encompassed fundraising, strategic partnerships, and team development, showcasing his ability to scale groundbreaking ideas into impactful ventures. Erik also held executive roles at Uptake Medical and Broncus Medical, where he spearheaded the development of novel treatments for lung disease and early-stage cancer therapies.
Renowned for bridging technical innovation with strategic execution, Erik plays a pivotal role at Skin Safeguard by refining its offerings and scaling its operations to deliver professional-grade skincare tools that set new industry standards.
