A Founder’s Mission
Noah Webster, our founder, experienced painful extractors firsthand. While in college, he worked on groundbreaking medical device projects developing innovations like sternal bone plates and anti-tremor devices for Parkinson’s patients, yet he couldn’t escape the frustration of dealing with persistent blackheads. Turning to the widely used metal loop extractor, he was shocked by the pain, irritation, and redness it caused. The experience felt ironic: despite advancing medical technology in his work, a tool used by millions daily had gone virtually unchanged since the late 1800s.
Determined to change this, Noah drew on his expertise in medical engineering to design a solution that was gentler, safer, and more effective. This vision became the foundation of Skin Safeguard™ Inc. and led to the creation of our flagship product, the Halo™ Extractor.

Noah founded Skin Safeguard™ in 2024 with a mission to redefine skincare tools through science, innovation, and expert collaboration. Drawing from his background in medical device engineering, he set out to create professional-grade solutions that are safe, effective, and empower users with confidence.
Before launching Skin Safeguard, Noah helped scale Singular Genomics from early development to IPO, optimizing DNA sequencing instruments and operational growth. He later co-founded OAN Health and HODL Operations, expanding his expertise in product innovation and scaling technology-driven businesses.
His early career in medical device innovation includes contributions to:

Noah holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Portland, where he conducted biomedical engineering research.
Erik Henne – Lead Strategic Advisor
With over 20 years in medical device innovation, Erik specializes in transforming breakthrough technologies into market-ready, clinically validated products. As Founder and CTO of Morair Medtech, he led product development and strategic partnerships, guiding the company through successful clinical trials for emphysema and lung cancer, leading to a successful exit. Previously, he held executive roles at Uptake Medical and Broncus Medical, where he helped develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for lung disease and early-stage cancer
